For our morning sentence we made a slogan for our company.

For Maths, some of us looked at percentages, change and adding money. This is going to help us with Enterprise week!

After breaktime, we split our paper into four and came up with different designs for our Pom Poms. Eddy decided on ‘Pom Pom Chicks’, Julia thought of ‘Pom Pom Rabbits’, Jessica decided on ‘Pom Pom Lambs’ and Jersey wanted to use them all!

For ICT, we created posters and flyers for our Market Day to tell everyone what we are selling and what time it starts!

Miss Hulse has to now go to Hobby Craft after 4H made a shopping list ready to create their products tomorrow!

Today, we have started to learn about how to set up a business. We have conducted market research, named our company and designed a logo.

Our company is called Egg-cellent Easter Planet and we intend to sell hand-crafted Easter cards to parents this Friday! You can also look out for our eye catching logo which was designed by the pupils of 4W.

Tomorrow, we will be designing our Easter card and focusing on the importance of money within a business.

This morning, we received a letter from Mrs Wallace which told us that this week is enterprise week! Mrs Wallace has kindly invested a starter budget of £100 for Year 4  to design, make and sell an Easter themed product.

After receiving this fanatastic opportunity we decided to brain storm ideas as business partners and carry out some market research to decide which product would be the most popular. We even looked at strengths and weaknesses of Easter toys that are already on sale.

The four popular product ideas were then put forward in a Dragon’s Den activity where the rest of the class asked a range of questions about their ideas. We asked questions about the quantity, profit, materials and design. We decided to invest in Poppy’s product idea which was a Pom Pom chick. It was agreed that this would be most profitable!

Once we had our product idea, we talked about roles in 4H’s company! We all voted on a company name and the majority of us chose ‘Easter Egg-cellent-ay!’.

With Mrs Sproule, we designed banners, logos and bunting for market day on Friday.

We can’t wait to start designing and creating our product.

Today was a great day, it was the start of Enterprise week! We started the day by thinking of ideas for things that we could sell to the parents on Friday. We did market research to see which was the most popular.The most popular choice was easter baskets  with chocolate in them.We then evaluated products that are already on the market . After we decided to call our company the Bunny Bosses! This afternoon we have been finding out what designs people want.

Tomorrow we will be starting to design different baskets.
