Welcome to Year 4 Maths!
This week we have been looking at place value and partitioning 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers.
Choose a number and try to find:
10 more
10 less
100 more
100 less
E.g.
345 + 10= 355
345 – 10= 335
345 + 100= 445
345 – 100= 245
Challenge-
- You could do the same to a 4 digit number.
- You could find more than 10 more e.g. 20 more, 30 more, 200 more and 300 more etc.
