Pupil Premium

Pupil premium is a pot of money given to schools to raise the attainment of Pupil premium children. The money is used to provide extra support to these children regardless of their ability. For those Pupil premium children in years 3 and 4,they will also be entitled to receive a free hot school dinner.

To qualify for Pupil premium and free school meals you must be in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

·Income support

·Job seekers allowance – Income based

·Employment and support allowance – Income related

·Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

·Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

· Child tax credit, provided you are not entitled to working tax credit and have an annual income that does not exceed £16,190.

If you think that your child may be eligible to receive this money in school please speak to a member of staff in the school office.
