Curriculum objective: To recognise the place value of each digit in a three-digit and 4 digit number.
Task: We would like you to practice your counting and mental addition at home to demonstrate a sound understanding of place value. (Th, H, T, U)
Examples:
- Have a go at adding 10 to a 3 or 4 digit number.
- Add more than 10 to any 3 digit number e.g. +30 or + 60.
- Add 100 or more to any 4 digit number.
- Add 1000 or more to any 4 digit number
