Curriculum objective: To recognise and show, using diagrams, equivalent fractions with small denominators.
Task: This week we have begun looking at fractions and will continue our learning into next week. Talk with someone at home about what you already know about fractions; including you knowledge of tenths and ordering fractions. Discuss what you know about ‘equivalent fractions’, for example, 1/2 and 2/4. Can you think of your own example?
