This week our talk homework is being sent home early because our writing is going to be developed during the course of the week ready for editing and improving on Friday.
We have asked the children to plan and write a story which is set in Scotland about Professor Pete and a Loch Ness Monster. Please could you listen to your child’s planning ideas and discuss how they will develop into a clear story with clear descriptions? It would benefit them to orally rehearse their stories so that they have a clear idea of their characters, setting and plot.
As we will be writing a bit more each day, it may also be of benefit to talk every evening about how far they’ve got with their stories and what will go into the next section.
Thank you for your support.
