This week we have been concentrating on 2d and 3d shapes. At home or when you are out and about, go on a Shape Hunt and identify as many different 2 and 3d shapes as you can. Concentrate on talking about the properties of the shape –what is it that makes it a particular shape?
You might want to consider:
2d shapes: numbers of sides or corners, number of right angles, whether it is symmetrical.
3d shapes: number of faces, corners or edges, shape of faces.
