This week we have been learning about data handling. We have practised the key skills of collecting data efficiently (e.g. using a tally chart), presenting data clearly (e.g. using a pictogram) and then interpreting the results (most popular/least popular etc).
For your talk homework I would like you to carry out your own data investigation at home. Think about a question you would like to find out the answer to. Then decide how to collect your data. You could present the data in a pictogram or you could think back to earlier in the term when we drew bar charts. After that, write a few sentences to explain what your data shows.
We will discuss this work after Easter so you have plenty of time to carry out your data investigation.
Have fun!
