This week we have been learning about arrays and how they can help us with multiplication and division.
For your talk homework I would like you to look for real life arrays (egg boxes, ice cube trays, stamps, muffin tins etc.) and then work out the multiplication and division facts that go with them.
2 x 5 = 10 5 x 2 = 10
10 ÷ 5 = 2 10 ÷ 2 = 5
Talk to someone at home about how you work out these multiplication and division facts. Use the words rows and columns to help explain.
Extra challenge:
How many different arrays can you draw for 24? Can you write all of the number facts that go with them?
