We all had a great morning this morning when Aidan and Andy came to visit us!
We have spent the last fortnight learning about people who help us and it was a great way to finish the topic! During our guided writing sessions this week we have been thinking of questions to ask and we were really excited to get the chance to ask the questions!
We had a talk from Aidan about what the police do and how they help us and he even handcuffed Mrs Purser! Good job he had the key! Then we got to try on some of the police uniform which was great.
After that, we wet outside to have a look at the police car! We all got to sit in it and pretend that we were driving it! Our favourite part was when Aidan put the flashing blue lights and siren on- it was so loud!
Andy was also outside and he brought a First Responder car with him. It looked quite similar to the police car but in the boot there was lots of important equipment! He told us all about how he helps people and showed us what some of it was. He showed us some of the special medicines that he gives people and also did an ECG reading on a couple of children! We also loved it when he put the siren and flashing lights on!!
