We all had a great day celebrating the Queen’s birthday!
We had a special assembly at the beginning of the week with Mrs Wallace who told us all about the Queen and then on Friday, we all made our own crowns! We looked great and really enjoyed making them!
We wore our crowns all day on Friday and even had Union Jack flags! We even had a special lunch outside and each had a Union Jack lunch box! It was very exciting and we loved being able to eat outside all together!
Then in the afternoon, we had some special visitors for our assembly who put on a great show for us! We all went outside again and had a special drink and cake that Mrs Purser had made for us and Mrs Wallace toasted the Queen!!
A great day was had by all and we are looking forward to seeing some of the Queen’s celebrations on the television over the weekend!
