In our literacy we are reading the Stone Lion by Margaret Wild and Ritva Voutila. Next week we will be thinking about the characters’ feelings during the story and then visiting a local stone lion to think about his feelings as he sits there watching the world go by.
We will be writing his diary next Friday so talk about the things the stone lion might see outside his house, who or what goes past at different times of the day. We don’t know what happens at night time so talk about what he could see, hear and smell overnight, the gnomes might wake up or a neighbour’s cat might come over for a chat!!
