We had a great time visiting Droitwich library on Friday morning!
We all got a bit wet walking there and back but it was definitely worth it! James showed us to the children’s area and then talked to us about the book packs that he would be giving us. How exciting! A free book!!
He talked to us about what happens in the library and told us that if we were a member, we could borrow 12 books!! Something we were very excited about!
He then read ‘Open very carefully’ to us. It was so much fun because a crocodile had managed to eat some of the book! We absolutely loved the book and it made us laugh.
The children really enjoyed their visit and were a credit to the school. Thank you to James and Dee at Droitwich library for letting us visit and for giving us our ‘Booktime’ packs. (http://www.booktime.org.uk/)
