This afternoon a group of children from each Year One class took part in a Science workshop. The workshop was delivered by children from Year 7 at Witton Middle School who attend Science Club. The workshop involved three different activities- making a paper raft and seeing how much lego could fit on it before it sank, using ‘bird beaks’ to make a nest out of twigs and making a straw rocket to see how far a paper tube would travel.
The children had a great session and really enjoyed investigating alongside the Year 7 pupils.
