The children have been very busy over the last few weeks. We had a great time learning about People Who Help Us and the children really enjoyed asking questions to our special visitors (police officer Aiden and paramedic Sally).We celebrated the end of the topic with a heroes and helpers day where the children had the chance to dress up as either a superhero or a helper.
Our most recent topic has been the celebration of Chinese New Year. The children have liked learning all about China and how Chinese New Year is celebrated. They performed a dragon dance and loved tasting lots of Chinese food!
In phonics, we have been revisiting all of the digraphs/trigraphs that we have learnt so far. In maths, we have been learning to order numbers 1-20.
After half-term our next topic will be… Dinosaurs!
